Coachella Facts and Statistics for 2024

Here are a few of the most interesting Coachella facts and statistics I was able to dig up in my internet travels. As always, be sure to check back in the future as I will be updating this post as new and updated stats become available.
What is Coachella?
Coachella is an annual music and arts festival held in Indio, California, in the United States. The festival features performances by a wide range of musical artists, as well as art installations, food and drink vendors, and other attractions. Coachella is considered one of the most popular and influential music festivals in the world, with attendance reaching over 250,000 people in recent years.
Coachella was first held in 1999 and was created by concert promoter Paul Tollett and his production company Goldenvoice. The festival was initially a two-day event featuring performances by a variety of rock, punk, and electronic music artists. Over the years, the festival has grown in size and popularity, expanding to three days and eventually two weekends, and featuring a diverse range of musical genres and styles.
The festival has also become known for its fashion and celebrity culture, with many attendees dressing in distinctive and often elaborate outfits and with numerous celebrities in attendance each year.
